My college has a GLBT and Allies group and the Deen of student affers is opposed to the group so when my friend and I meet with him tomorrow this is the speach I plan on biting his head off with. Somehow her and I have become the head of this student run group, there are only three people in the group including the two of us. there are two allies and one lezbian, aka me. I plan on biting his head off. he calls himself an allie but then why would he be trying to oppose the group and telling us what we can and can not talk about.

You say you are approaching us as an alley but I get the feeling that you really don’t want the GLBT and Allies group on campus. We have no asperations to be an official group just a support group for those who wish to attend our meetings. If you try and stop us we will just continue even without permition. You accept other religions and ethnic/racial groups so why not accept that on a catholic campus there are those even those who are catholic like myself who are either gay, lesbian, bisexual or transexual. We have the freedom to be who we want to be reguardless of religion or what ever. GLBT can have what ever discussions we want as long as we keep it confidential and trust me it will be confidential. As far as I know there is nothing that goes on that goes against the campus mission but even if it did well we have our rights to do and say what we want behind closed doors!!. I love Anna Maria and wish to stay here, but I also wish to be accepted for who and what I am. You do not shun me because of my disabilty, do not shun people for their sexual orientation.
I plan on raising hell tomorrow and it will not be a pretty sight!
